11390097_1121807851166332_6669607631863537286_nWe’re happy to have Roseanne Clementi returning to Gulf Coast MakerCon again this year, showcasing her invention, the Pad Go Round. The Pad Go Round is a tablet holder that puts 2 to 4 ergonomic handles on electronic tablets, to make them easier to hold and use.  We asked her to tell us a bit more about her creation.

GCMC: What do you make?

RC: The Pad Go Round Tablet Holder with Handles – The handles and clamps are secured 10352930_1003379443009174_689217114732532726_non a sturdy base. The Pad Go Round is extremely light weighing less than 7.3 ounces. The features include four legs on the bottom to elevate above flat surfaces; lanyard loops on all corners and a universal threaded insert for any camera attachment.

GCMC: What inspired you to make it?

RC: My own issues with arthritis in my hands. Electronic tablets are hard to hold especially if you have any hand dysfunction.  There is very little margin on the screen to hold the tablet without touching the active screen. The Pad Go Round was developed to put handles on your electronic tablet.

In addition to the opportunity to see, handle and buy the Pad Go Round, guests will also be able to hear Roseanne share the history of her invention, and the progression of the prototyping process that took her from idea to product.
