Gulf Coast MakerCon 2020 Cancelled

This probably comes as no surprise to anyone at this point, but in the interest of the health and safety of our creative makers and the residents of Uptown Tampa and Hillsborough county, we are cancelling Gulf Coast MakerCon, scheduled for May 23 & 24 at University Mall,  to help prevent the advancement and transmission of COVID-19 virus in our community.

We invite exhibitors who have already signed up for Gulf Coast MakerCon  – – and those who haven’t yet –  to consider sharing what you make at AMRoC Fab Lab as a First Friday presenter, through workshops or gallery showings later in the year when social distancing recommendations have been lessened or removed.

The Foundation for Community Driven Innovation, which runs Gulf Coast MakerCon, will continue monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will announce a new date for the event when possible.

We thank you for your understanding and send all our MakerCon friends and family best wishes for your health and safety during this challenging time.
